WHAT ARE GOOD WAYS TO REACT WHEN WOMEN HITTING ON MY BOYFRIEND?
It can be annoying I know. Some of us don't know what to do in a situation like that. Maureen has an epic story about this happened to her.
"My husband is the sweetest, most oblivious man on the planet.
Women throw themselves at him and he doesn’t seem to notice. They could be giving him a lap dance, at a party and he’s thinking, “Yum. I really like this onion dip. I wonder what’s in it.”
He’ll smile vaguely and wander off.
This, unfortunately, is often seen as a challenge.
I was in my own hospital for surgery.
My husband came early, every morning with Starbucks (I don’t do other coffee. Don’t judge.) and a newspaper.
We would sip our coffee and chat, like we do every morning.
(Is there anything better than when that first sip of latte awakens your soul? I digress.)
There was a nurse who kept hitting on him, big time.
“I’m so happy that you came to see me. I missed you.” she purred, every time he showed up.
This went on for several days.
She kept touching his arm and laughing at his dopey jokes.
I watched with the detached interest that only the truly sedated can muster.
Rick kept walking around her to the point that he actually tripped over her while she was flipping her hair.
Finally, she remembered that she had other patients and scampered off.
I looked up over my paper.
“Wow, Honey, that gal was really hitting on you.”
“Oh. Was that what all that was about? I thought she was just being a pain in the a**.”
I have no worries. I don’t have to react at all."
